APWM MISSION LUNCH

The Nations At Our Doorstep

Crossing Cultures without Crossing Oceans

We are very pleased to have at this year’s Mission Lunch:

National Director of Australian Presbyterian World Mission, Rev Chris Siriweera

and

Diaspora Ministry Missionaries Rob and Paul & Anthea as our guest speakers.

Rob, having served for many years in Central and East Asia, with Teresa, continues to support field work among a Muslim people group through the dissemination of God’s Word, media outreach, research, advocacy and other projects, while also serving among the diaspora in Australia and helping equip local churches for global outreach as well as mentoring and preparing new workers for ministry abroad.

Paul and Anthea, after many years serving in the Middle East, now walk alongside the Muslim diaspora in Australia—particularly Arab students, asylum seekers and refugees—through friendship, mentoring, English classes and practical support, sharing the gospel and helping people explore faith in Jesus while connecting them with local churches and encouraging those churches to engage meaningfully with nearby Muslim communities.

Tickets are $25 per head and bookings and payments are online ONLY from now until 29th September 2026. Due to catering arrangements, no further bookings will be accepted after this date.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear about our diaspora ministry in Victoria while enjoying a scrumptious Spit Roast Lunch with good fellowship.
