At the PCV’s General Assembly in October 2021, Rev Chris Siriweera was reappointed as Ministry Development Officer of the PCV for a new five-year term, starting in 2022. The vote to reappoint was unanimous.
The Assembly also resolved to “commend the work of Rev Chris Siriweera in the role of Ministry Development Officer and ask the Assembly to pray that his efforts would help others bear fruit as God’s fellow workers.”
Chris is thankful to the Lord for all that he has been able to do to encourage PCV ministers, elders and congregations in his first three years in the role, and says, “I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with Sessions and congregations across Victoria to promote church revitalisation, and develop pastoral leadership.”
