Nearly five years ago, one of our church properties on Pakington Street, Geelong West, was torched – razed to the ground.
It’s been a complex and halting journey for both presbytery and congregation with setbacks and unanticipated difficulties over the period.
But now, rising from the ashes, there is an outstanding new building almost ready for occupation.
Along with presbytery members who laboured hard through its vacancy, the present minister, Rev Luke McSeveny, having applied his engineering experience of former life, are anticipating with much thankfulness how the utility of this building will glorify God in being a place of gospel outreach.
Pictured here is presbytery clerk, Rev Robert White, and pastor Luke with the worship space behind them.
We wait for official word regarding the Opening Celebrations.
