Keynote speakers this year are Dr Matthew Tuininga and Rev Dr Joseph Boot with complementary contributors including Wendy Francis, Dr Bernie Power, Prof Margaret Somerville, Dr John Whitehall, Rev Peter Hastie and Prof Nicholas Aroney.

The conference will be held on Friday – Saturday, 15 – 16 November 2019 at Scots Church, 156 Collins Street, Melbourne

“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter” Isa. 59:14

Christianity cannot be confined to just the home and church, but always had and will ever have a significant involvement in the public square. We believe there is no public/private distinction in Christian teaching – once an individual embraces the Christian religion it has implications for both the believer, their community and the pursuit of the common good. We hope providing a forum for discussion on social, ethical and biblical concerns will further equip Christians in engaging and witnessing in the public square.
