HMWA winds up after 83 years ministry

Officenews

After 83 years in operation, the gospel-support ministry of Home Mission Workers Association has concluded. We thank God for many blessings that have been seen and felt from the work of HMWA over the years of its existence. Originating as an urgent need during the Depression years when home missionaries were often in need of life’s daily home necessities, it was considered appropriate to wind up this year. The final thanksgiving service and celebration lunch was conducted on 16 November, during which the moderator Rev Robert White spoke along with Carolyn Wentworth, Rev Dr Allan Harman and others.
