The Health and Community Chaplaincy Committee (HCCC) hosted a special Chaplains’ Service at Scots Church on Sunday 25th June to give thanks and pray for the work of their staff, volunteer and associated Chaplains. The service was led by the Convener of the HCCC Rev Miles Fagan and Moderator, Robert White prayed for the Chaplains on the day.
The occasion also marked the retirement this week of Miss Elspeth Slater from the role of Pastoral Support Worker to Victorian Ministry Wives which she has held for the past nine years. Elspeth also had the opportunity to celebrate with many of our ministry wives at a special function at Heathmont House held for them on Saturday 17th June.
